MEDWAY — Principal Dr. John Murray is pleased to announce that several Medway High School students were recognized for their academic achievements during a Scholars Breakfast held Thursday, Nov. 21 during morning flex block.
“We had been looking for ways to celebrate the success of our students, and this breakfast was a chance to recognize all of the hard work they do,” Principal Murray said. “We have many students who go above and beyond both inside the classroom and out, and this was our way to thank them and congratulate them.”
Several groups of student scholars were recognized at the breakfast:
Students who achieved a score of 3 or higher on at least three Advanced Placement classes during high school (AP Scholars), students who scored 3.25 or higher on at least three tests (AP Scholars with honors), students who scored 3.5 or higher on at least three tests (AP Scholars with distinction), and students who achieved an average score of at least 4 on all AP exams taken with scores of 4 or higher on eight or more of those exams (National AP Scholar).
